As a host of We Study Billionaires and a passionate value investor, Clay enjoys educating others and building meaningful connections with like-minded investors.

This led Clay to kickstart our TIP Mastermind Community in early 2023. In the community, he organizes many of the weekly live Zoom calls, helps manage the live events in Omaha and New York City, coordinates Q&A sessions with special guests, and connects with our thoughtful members daily.

KYLE GRIEVE

Kyle brings his passion for value investing to We Study Billionaires, where he discusses some of the most impactful investing books ever written, connects with other great investors, and shares his learnings with the TIP audience.

Kyle actively utilizes the TIP Mastermind Community to further improve his investing acumen. In the community, he shares portfolio updates each quarter, gives detailed stock presentations on businesses he finds interesting, discusses investing strategies in depth, and loves discussing how to improve the thinking process.

STIG BRODERSEN

We host two live events for our community members each year. The first is in May during the Berkshire Hathaway Shareholders weekend, and the second is in the fall in New York City. These events typically include dinners and socials that give members the opportunity to enjoy great food while building deeper, more meaningful relationships with one another.

Our typical member is an entrepreneur, high-net-worth individual, or portfolio manager who is deeply passionate about value investing and wants to learn alongside others. They are deeply curious about the world and enjoy connecting with others.

While we don’t necessarily require members to participate in discussions, we encourage members to do so. We tend to ask our higher-level members to present to the community.

Our current member breakdown is as follows: 65% United States, 20% Europe, 7% Canada, 4% Australia, 4% Other.

As of December 2025, we have 121 members. We are limiting the group to 150 members to ensure that we keep the group high-quality. This was inspired by the ‘Dunbar Number,’ which states that we can only maintain 150 connections at once.
